BGIS Team Members raised over $550,000 for various charitable organizations in 2017


At BGIS, we believe sustainable operating practices are vital to assist the global effort to mitigate climate change. We work hard to implement technologies and programs throughout our business that promote environmental awareness and drive significant operational cost reductions in our clients’ real estate portfolios.

An Inspired Future

An Inspired Future is an annual event hosted by BGIS that engages industry professionals on sustainable and restorative business practices in corporate real estate. This event focuses on inspiring leaders to make changes that will ultimately affect the future of our planet by significantly reducing their companies’ environmental footprints. An Inspired Future offers business professionals the opportunity to learn, network and engage with many of Canada’s industry leaders as well as listen to some of world’s greatest thought leaders on sustainable business practices.

Charity events

BGIS prides itself as being a steward in corporate social responsibility by hosting charitable initiatives and raising awareness as leaders within the community.

Last year, BGIS Team Members donated over $362,000 to charitable organizations, which include: Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, Sickkids Foundation, President’s Choice Foundation, Canuck Place, Movember Canada, and WWF Canada.

In addition, The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation has recognized BGIS as a Top Fundraiser thanks to our annual Charity Casino event, which continues to grow and exceed the previous year’s donations.
